Best Web Hosting Service????
I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on which is the best web hosting service???? There's so many to choose from and so many different prices. I've heard that the cheap ones aren't necessarily good if you want to drive a lot of traffic because places like google won't recognize the cheap-o web hosts. I want to set up an informational website, that will eventually have income-generating ads..... so at first it will be relatively small-medium. And I hope to drive a LOT of traffic to it. These are some of the hosts I've come across: (Tell me if they're any good?) ~Site Build It ~PowWeb ~1&1 ~ThinkWeb ~FutureQuest ~pair Networks PLEASE, if you have used any of these or heard of someone using these.... give me your opinions on them! I need to figure out which ones are good and which ones would screw me over! Remember: I want to EVENTUALLY have an income-generating informational website

- Well I see some endurance International companies, stay far far away from these guys: Endurance International Group and the many subsideraries: AccountSupport, BizLand, BlueDomino, DomainHost, eHost, EntryHost, FatCow, FreeYellow, HostCentric, HostYourSite, HyperMart, ImOutDoors, iPowerWeb (iPower), NetWorksHosting, PowWeb, PureHost, ReadyHosting, USAnetHosting, VirtualAve, & Xeran. Another one to stay away from is hostingplex. Lunarpages is not too bad as far as servers and performance, but their customer support pretty much sucks.
- 1and1 is not a good solution. Their support stinks. They only have support staff in the UK, which means if you need support during the US daytime, you won't get it. Also, when you drop their "HOSTING PLAN", they also give you NO access to the domains you've purchased with them SEPARATELY. They are horrible. I currently use (mt) Media Temple and like them.
- www.9k.com It may not be the cheapest on the web but its the best, it has one on one help by phone and email and step by step on how to use everything. It even helps you bring traffic to your site!!
- I would recommend http://www.myownfreeweb.com/ You can get free web hosting, 250MB of storage, 6GB of monthly transfer, you can start off with a subdomain and add on domains later as you create them all in one account. I use them for my website and have no complaints about them. As far as Google looking down on cheap or free hosts, thats a lot of balony. I have always used free hosting sites for my sites and have had some sites with good rankings and others with poor rankings. It has all come down to how much work I put into each site.
- The best place to get webhosting is Hostgator.com They have webhosting at about 7.97 per month. I suggest ordering the baby package. Their downtime is almost nil...and the support is excellent. Site Build it is not actually a hosting service. However you can build your website there...but it will cost you much more than just a hosting service. The others you mention are good to average hosting services. But if you are looking to have an informational type website that will help you monetize it I highly suggest hostgator.com

- Hi, When choosing a web host it's of course important to consider the cost (some hosting can be very expensive) but here are some other important things you should take into consideration too: Web Hosting Space: Some web hosts will only give you 500MB or so of space. This could be a concern if you are looking at creating large websites. Bandwidth: Some web hosts will severely limit the bandwidth you can use before you incur extra charges. Uptime: There's no point in having a website if people can't see it. Does your web host offer at least a 99% uptime guarantee? Number of websites allowed: If you're looking to host more than one website on your account, will your web host charge you more to do this? Support: If you have any problems you need to be able to contact your web host quickly and easily to get the problem sorted. I have used Hostgator as my web host for over two years now and have been very very impressed with them. Firstly they're very cheap but still give me more web hosting space and bandwidth than I'll ever need, the ability to host unlimited websites, a 99.9% uptime guarantee and great customer support. You can find them at http://www.webhostgator.info
- If you like to create websites (usually you will end up more than 1 website, I got more than 100 websites in about 6 months' time), go for multiple web hosting services where you could host all your websites in one account. I would like to suggest following webhosting which I use, they are excellent. Hostmonster http://www.hostmonster.com/track/ryukenden/ They offer hosting of "unlimited domains" and you will get massive webspace of 1500000 MB (1500 GB ). They only charge $5.95/month and they offer "a free Domain Name" and installing service called "Fantastico". By using Fantastico, you could create own forum, photo gallery, shopping cart (e-commerce),your own auction site and your own blogs within few seconds. They also offer "Free Website Builder" as well. Visit the site to check details. Hostmonster http://www.hostmonster.com/track/ryukenden/ More the list of BEST WEB HOSTING sites visit http://www.nicewebhosts.com
- http://www.fiestadomains.com I use their service all the time. They are reliable, provide 24x7 phone support, and their prices are low.
