- You need a domain and hosting. The freedomain.co.nr may let you have a "nicer" domain name for your site (instead of say "Geocities") but it wont store your site (web host). Not sure of a free host that doesn't do adds. They need to make $ somehow. Servers are expensive.
- Web hosting can let you upload your own site, but web space may not. For free web hosting without ads you can try http://us.890m.com Their free web hosting includes databases, subdomains, ftp, email accounts, cPanel Access, 250MB disk space, 100GB data transfer bandwidth, etc... The subdomain is short and easy to be remember. Example: <yourdomain>.890m.com You can upload your site via cPanel Access using internet explorer or ftp using filezilla I have used it for few months and I never see the problems like server down, slow down, etc....
- web space is same as your hard disk space , only difference is hard disk space is present on your home computer , and web space is presenet somewhere on a remote server , where you can rent / purchase some space to put your files or data. when you rent/purchase some space to put your files on a remote server/computer it is called web hosting , so both are same , now you want a free space without ads , thats difficult , try yahoo geocities , but still ads comes on it .
- There's not really any difference between the two. Web space is the space on someone's server dedicated for your site, web hosting is just the act of having that space on the internet. Some of these sites will have ads, some won't, but they're all free: http://www.tripod.lycos.co.uk/ http://www.freewebpage.org http://www.fateback.com http://www.portland.co.uk http://www.topcities.com/ http://www.hostultra.com/ http://t35.com/ http://www.domaindlx.com/ http://www.freepgs.com/ http://www.20m.com/ http://www.netfirms.com/hostingbasic/ http://www.zone.ee/ http://www.propercomfy.co.uk/ http://www.worldfreeweb.com/
- Here is a review of a free web host (as in REALLY free, money-free and ad-free too)... http://hesitantrhino.com/free-web-hosting Not only is it free, but you get all the features of "real" hosting... five FTP accounts, five email addresses, five MySQL databases, and cPanel to configure your site.
