Free web hosting/domain?

I'm going to be making a web site for somebody and I have to do it without it costing anything. I know of free web hosting from Angelfire and Geocities, but I really would like something that doesn't have any pop-ups, addbanners, or long URL names. I also know how to turn my computer into a web server, but I'de really rather not. I'de like to have a decent amount of webspace, PHP & CGI capabilities, no pop-ups/ad-banners, short URL name, no file-size limit, and a high data transfer limit. Does anybody have any recommendations?

1. http://www.clickherefree.com/ <<< try searching your free web hosts there...all of those are free...they provide mysql databases, php, ftp accounts, cgi bin...some have 500mb storage for free... and for the free domain... try here >> www.1and1.com [only .info sites are free
