domain and web hosting question please???!!?

I'm very new to this. I created a website. I just purchased a domain name www.playazsite.com through godaddy.com. Then 2 days later I purchased their web hosting plan for 2 months. I need FTP address to upload my info. but when I try to set up my account with godaddy it says domain's DNS record must be manually changed to point to my hosting account's server. What does this mean?? Please help

1. They may think you are hosting from your own server. I'm not sure how www.godaddy.com is set up but you may want to open a Trouble Ticket with them for some assistance
2. You need to sign into your domain account at godaddy and click on MANAGE DOMAIN. Then unlock it if its locked(You can see in that page). Then click on change name servers. Then click on godaddy's server or own servers and apply. Now the site will point to the host. Also if you email to their support center they will do it for you free. If you need I can do it for you.
