1. i have hosted 6 domains with www.powweb.com. Excellent service and support. They are almost ALWAYS up and fast upload/download times.

It all depends on your knowledge in html (or other forms of coding) If you have absolutely no experience, I would recommend using geocities from yahoo (geocities.yahoo.com) or freewebs.com, which dont require any previous knowledge in programming to make a good-looking site and are completely free. Those sites are limited, however. If you have more experience and know how to program, I would highly recommend 50megs.com. It's easy to use, has a really high storage for lots and lots (and lots and lots, im not kidding) of pages. 50 megs also hosts websites for a fairly cheap price (if you want no advertising, that is) and also offers free hosting (with advertising on your page) I would recommend 50 megs over any of the others, and if you are looking to get a brief tutorial on html, you can find several on the internet. The one that I found to be the most helpful while learning how is coolcherrycream.com. It has several different webdesign tutorials and explains them really well. Good luck :)
