Looking for a web host?
I need to find a web host for my web page. I have found millions of places to host them. I am looking for someone to tell me a good one, reviews, etc. I need alot of transfer capacity cuz it is a photography web site. I would also like the possibility of paypal or something like that.

- I can only give you my opinion on the two sites I have used. They may not be the same of others that have also used these same services. Ok at the moment I host with yahoo, it is cheap and supports dream weaver. It also has paypal integration. It also has a variety of templates for use. You need to check out the prices and services to see if they fit your needs. I have also used go daddy, it is cheap but contains too much for my taste. It overloaded me with too many extras. Sorry if this is not that detailed early at work and tired. if you care to email me i can give you more information.

- I use Geocities (owned by yahoo). I find it to have alot of room and pretty cheep as well. I do think they have paypal but i am not 100% sure
- I lease dedicated servers from Host Gator, one of the top rated hosting services. The plans I have set up are geared toward small business and start with 777Mb space, 7Gb bandwidth for $7 per month. The next step up doubles everything including monthly cost. Both plans include the new cPanel that has new functions such as WebDisk. That allows you to drag & drop files between your computer and website just by using Windows Explorer. Also includes an online WYSIWYG web page editor. Host Gator has plans that allow more space and bandwidth for a few dollars more.
- I am very happy with http://www.asmallorange.com I saw a lot of reviews favoring http://www.bluehost.com If you want a "green" (solar-powered) host: http://www.greenesthost.com The very best discussions and ratings are at: http://www.webhostingtalk.com - all experts!!!
- I use Yahoo Small Business Web Hosting and Domain. It supports Dream Weaver, Page Builder and also they have some free Design Tools. The price is good and they support Pay Pal. Go to http://smallbusiness.yahoo.com and check it out. Hope this helps
- Host Gator http://www.hostgator.com Been with them for years. Awesome.
- I design and develop web sites for a living. While I do not have my own web servers I have spent a lot of time researching web hosting providers for myself as well as my customers. The web hosting provider I use offers me many features (Their Medium plan) including Two free domain name registrations 500 GB of web storage space Ability to host 8 separate domain names on dedicated IP addresses 3500 GB data transfer per month 300 sub domains 100 MySQL, 100 Postgre SQL databases As well as many other features you are probably looking for. The best part about it is the plan I talk about above is only about 100 dollars a year. They have 24-7 telephone support even if you never need to call them as their service is that reliable. They are by far the best web hosting provider I have found in the past 12 years or so of my web design and development history. You can learn more about it from the link I put on my web site located at http://lakeareawebs.com/links.html If you use decide to go with them I would appreciate you using the above mentioned link so I can get a referral credit on it.
- If you like to create websites (usually you will end up more than 1 website, I got more than 100 websites in about 6 months' time), go for multiple web hosting services where you could host all your websites in one account. I would like to suggest following webhosting which I use, they are excellent. Hostmonster http://www.hostmonster.com/track/ryukenden/ They offer hosting of "unlimited domains" and you will get massive webspace of 300000 MB (300 GB ). They only charge $5.95/month and they offer "a free Domain Name" and installing service called "Fantastico". By using Fantastico, you could create own forum, photo gallery, shopping cart (e-commerce),your own auction site and your own blogs within few seconds. They also offer "Free Website Builder" as well.
