Web hosting to post Resume, CL, goals etc.?

I want to register a domain through 1&1 (myname.com) and post a resume, cover letter, career aspirations, goals etc. via web hosting. I don't want to pay $4/mo so I am looking for something FREE or $10/yr etc. w/o ads. What is my best strategy / recommendations?

1. GoDaddy.com has hosting plans for $3.99/month. Other than that, I don't think there are any hosting providers that will give you free hosting with no ads.
2. Check 50webs.com. I think they are the best free webhost. If you will go into paid webhosting, my preferred host is My Webbie Hosting. Only $3.95/month, and with free domain name regsitration.
3. I would not choose free web hosts as they are not reliable and once I used free host, but all my data lost and they didn't have back up and I had to do all over again, very frustrating. If you look for web hosting, don’t rush into it. Read reviews about web hosting and decide properly before going ahead with web hosting. I personally will recommend you a web hosting which many people find it very reliable. It is hostmonster.
