  1. Will you? Yes. Would you? Not really, no. If you're serious about hosting get a actual hosting provider like Servage.net. I've worked with all the big names (GoDaddy, MediaTemple, 1&1, ect.) and Servage is the best by a long shot. This is part of my job so you might just want to take my word for it. As for how Dreamweaver is, if you're planning on coding it yourself don't waste your money. It's powerful but for 99.9% of developers it's far too much. You can do everything in notepad and a few free apps anyway, like WAMP. Dreamweaver has a heavy learning curve if you don't know how to code yourself and, if you do, it's more an impediment at times. It's best for more advanced server-related work which is where it's power really shines. You might want to look into a CMS like Joomla or WordPress to power your site, it'll allow you to do it all much easier and cheaper.
  2. Dreamweaver is very good. I use Dreamweaver 4.0 (Macromedia, before Adobe bought it), so I'm sure the newer versions are even better. You can "Publish" your site on any ISP using FTP protocol (Which is almost all of them, besides freebie junk hosts) You may want to shop around for an ISP, many people use yahoo, etc for convenience even though you may be able to find a better ISP for cheaper if you do some research.
  3. Yahoo web hosting sucks. I am hosting my websites at http://aplis.net/ , you can also give them a try.

  5. I would lean toward a "real" web hosting company rather than the path you're considering. For cheap shared hosting, I recommend IX Web Hosting, and for the higher-end solutions, LiquidWeb is very good (terrific support). I'm no coder, and I use Dreamweaver and like it very much. http://gettingyourbusinessonline.com/
