I need more info on yahoo web hosting???? my family owns a small town business, and we would like to create a web site... nothing to fancy, i want to be able to have links, add pictures, i want to have more than one page. i dont know where to start....... i have sorta checked into yahoos web hosting. Can someone explain it to me??? or if you are familiar with another site that does web hosting... i need help...

I have a domain registered with another company but I am not satisfied with their hosting so I would like to transfer with Yahoo Webhosting but - does Yahoo accept to host a domain not registered with them?? - I want Yahoo to host my business email (i.e.name@name.com) is this part of their webhosting services - I can't find the customer service of Yahoo as I'd like to chat with them and get faster answer/results to my questions. - lastly, the company where I registered my domain requires I indicate the name server where I want to transfer my domain (i.e. Yahoo) so what is the name server of Yahoo??

Shell access to yahoo web hosting? is it possible to connect to my yahoo small business file server through a shell rather than the web based interface. I'm using Fetch on a iMac G5 to transfer files, but there are somethings that are easier to do through the shell. Anyone?

Hi Has anyone else had as hard a time trying to create a web page using yahoo web hosting as I have? help! lol Hi I have tried for several hours to create a simple web page using sitebuilder from yahoo but I tried to put a picture in and it enlarges it so only a part of it shows or says I dont have enough memory ( I have a new computer with 512) I have gone into every application and went through every toutorial but still cant seem to get it to work or to find a contact number to get help and the help pages have not been of much use. anyway if anyone has any idea PLEASE let me know I am recently out of work and starting over and cant afford a web designer at this point. how does yahoo web hosting e-mail account works? hello there, I am trying to help a friend with his e-mail account on a website xyz.com that is being hosted by yahoo. my friend and his wife have e-mail accounts associated with their xyz.com domain but my friend does not remember his password but his wife does for her e-mail account and even site admin. When we try to get a new password set with credentials that we know dob zip etc get no matching credentials.... we can login into the admin account and website but we are not able to find a place to reset his password....can anyone tell me how this works....how is the yahoo id associated with the e-mail accounts created on your website hosted by yahoo. we can not be the only people with this issue. can we remove the e-mail account and recreate it with a new one is the password for yahoo id and the e-mail account the same thing???Tx for you help Peter
